Who is going to this one? Which would be a better one to attend? Cowtown or Austin two weeks before.

I've done both. I can't think of a single aspect that Austin doesn't completely outshine cowtown. (except the awards banquet afterwards at cowtown was fabulous---I got to talk to SF-H). Austin is very organized, the finishing area is spaceous, crowds are awesome, and I think the course would be an excellent choice for you. Extremely quick 1st half which I think is good for people that are able to hold themselves true to their pace.
plus some special peoples will be there in 2005
