2004 Cotton Row Run

I'm kinda considering this. It's a pretty solid drive from Baton Rouge (about 7 hours) but it is a summer 10k, which they don't have around here. Also, it's on a Monday, which fits my schedule infinitely better than a Saturday or Sunday. They seem to draw a pretty good bit of fast runners, much faster than anything I've seen around here. Also, I could probably get some camping/backpacking done post-race... isn't Huntsville near/in the Appalachians?

I think Huntsville is only a few hours outside of Atlanta... any of you Southeastern people interested?
