Ran across this tidbit on MetaFilter: Child Pimp & Ho Costumes.

As someone pointed out, the "Ho" costume is the same as the flapper costume. Zany.

I want to know who's pimipin' what?! Those kids Halloween costumes cost between $40 and $50 bucks a pop!!!!

As a parent I find that as objectionable as the subject matter.

Sheesh. When I was a kid I wanted to dress up like an angel or a football player or Raggedy Ann.

I can't say a whole lot -- in fourth grade I was (dressed as) a Harem Girl / Belly Dancer. dunno
