Yesterday we laid off two cow-orkers so parent company could get that much closer to a $1.4M savings.

Who made the decision? The president, based on a list of names he had received from the consulting company parent company uses.

When did we hear this? At today's monthly corporate meeting, where the Employee of the Month cash bonus was given. Right before we got a free lunch.
