Since I was born a yankee, I grew up with bread dressing, but now that I live in Texas, I only get cornbread dressing.....
What do you like best?

Bread. With onions, celery, and Bell's seasoning. This is the ONLY way to make stuffing.

The best stuff on earth! "An American holiday tradition since 1867. This century-old seasoning is a unique "collection" of herbs and spices carefully blended to an exclusive formula. This famous ALL NATURAL SALT FREE seasoning has long been a household staple (especially during the holidays!), and it is also a favorite with generations of chefs." A blend of rosemary, oregano, sage, ginger, marjoram, thyme, and pepper. I am not a great cook, but I cook a mean turkey dinner from scratch. My stuffing is usually gone before most people get seconds, as they load up on firsts.

You can't go wrong in our household with either style.

Bread. I like to do mine with cranberry relish, pecans, chix stock, dash of champagne, and lots of pepper and assorted other secret seasonings.

Cornbread dressing all the way. My granny's is unbeatable. Seriously. It's the best part of thanksgiving and Easter.

yes. As in, my Texan parents lived in New Jersey long enough to pick up some of the traditions and now blend them. We have half and half.

i despise corn bread dressing.
i do love regular bread stuffing. and i really think that stoffers stuffing mix in the box is the best. but the home made stuff is awesome too. no celery or mushrooms though.

I like both, but my cornbread is more of a cornbread pudding type thing, usually with sausage. Regular bread stuffing, definitely onion, celery, mushroom, potatoes cubed, oysters if I can get away with them, and I do my own seasoning blends.
