I think its time we finally decide the long standing debate
Which is the correct way:
Over:
or
Under:

sorry to be so wishy-washy:
sometimes i just throw it on and if it's under, so be it. my husband complains but he doesn't change it.
sometimes, i just throw it on and it's over and that's a bonus for the day cuz he likes it over.
it's a crap shoot here. over/under/sometimes just sitting on top of the roller thingy until it gets too small and falls thru and I am forced to finally put it on the roll. and even then, i'm fine with over or under.
how about just perched on the back of the tank for the ultimate in laziness? it's simply not going on over or under. period.
guess i won't help settle the debate.

i think that over eases the spinning of the role as you tear off paper... while under adds sort of a unique, or at least unexpected element of the bathroom experience...
if it ever even makes it on to the spinny thing. mostly its uesed up before it makes its way there.

The definitive answer is over, so you can see the pretty prints if you buy pretty printed paper.
But if you're in doubt, you could always purchase the Tilt-A-Roll to please everyone in your household. It spins so you can have it over or under depending on your preference!

I've said this before...mine is lucky to make it to the spool as it sits on the sink most of the time because both of us are too lazy to hook it up properly. Properly = over by the way.

I believe that under is proper......but I prefer over......but since I'm the only one in the house that know how to put it on.....however it goes up in a hurry is correct and no one complains.....if they did ......they would soon find the roll on the back of the toilet where I usually do

Holders are a pain because every one takes a different tension pull to get a decent tear. Don't you hate it when you go for "the tear" and the thing spins and spits out another three feet worth? Aacck, hate it. Just hand me the roll

Over, under... whatever! shouldn't the real question be...which ply do you prefer? 1 ply, 2 ply, 3?!
