you'd be surprised by people thinking that once the weight is lost they can just simply return to thier old habits.

It's too bad that they didn't include the South Beach diet. I would be curious to see where that ended up. There are no menus because it is a fairly loose plan.

FYI, I lost 20 lbs on that diet. The first 2 weeks are the toughess but after that things were pretty easy to follow. Couple it with exercise and it work great!

Exactly. It frustrates me to see people who are so gung ho on diets but refuse to step into the gym. Confused WTF?

i had seen on TV they did not include the SB diet becuase there was no long term scientific studies on it. the long term scientific studies are being done now and will most likely be included in later reviews.

I have tried most of the diets in the list but Low calorie under 1200 and low fat diets always work best for me.

Aside from a squat rack and barbell, tell me why ANYONE would need to go to a gym to get an excellent workout? I do one of the best workouts in the world in a room the size of a walk-in closet. And I've trained with best this country has to offer. A lot. But I get your point. Low carb diets are really, really stupid, I mean stooopid, for athletes.
