I'd rather get beat by Houston now, than suffer another embarrasing loss to a team of hosiery in the World Series. Can you imagine getting beat by the Red Sox one year, and then the White Sox the next? I'm really happy for Craig Biggio, he really deserves to be in a World Series. I pink love Craig.
Oswalt is an excellent pitcher. He far outshines Clemens and Pettite. When are they ever gonna get over Clemens? I'm sick and tired of hearing about his mother's death. Big deal. Someone's mother dies everyday. What makes his so special? Get over it already.
The best thing about the Astro's win, is more interviews with Jim Hickey!

Now if you'll excuse me while I pout and pack up all my Cardinal gear and banish it to the attic again.

...........but you lost to a team you beat for the division by 11 games - so much for the benefits<??> of being division champs.

If Houston wins the world series....that'll make it 4 in a row for the wild card to win the world series.

Thanks Achey and I too am so happy for 18 year (and my favorite) Astro Craig Biggio (have I ever admitted to owning a biggio shirt?) and Oswalt has been much better than Clemens this season. The excess Clemens coverage is annoying, and the thing is you know he doesn't want it on him either, which redeems him a little for me. I'm not a huge Bagwell fan but I kind of have to feel bad that he's hurt the year he finally goes.

Anyway, thanks for the memories, cards!
