I've had ACL surgery, it's not the end of the world. Of course your DR will give you the best advice, but I'd say, don't put it off. Not only will you further damage your knee, possibly causing cartlidge damage, but to compensate you're going to change your stride etc... I put mine off and managed to do damage to my other knee due to my new limp. (should be noted, I put mine off for a long time)
The surgery isn't horrible, it's the PT that hurts! Good luck!!

That sucks G-man but I'm with Katzoo on this one. Arthroscopic surgery is amazing stuff. I'd get the surgery and get back on the road to recovery instead of messing around with it.
