it was a hectic first day...my first mangerial duty...write the job description for my 'vacant' position...how many have ever had to write their job description for their replacement...

I was a corporate Controller for about four years - when I handed in my resignation to accept the job I have now - I wrote up the position description and interviewed the candidates for my position.

I recently had to do just that. Interesting, that no one had a job description for me when I started the old job.
