It appears I have my first "military" mission in 30 years.

I have been asked to assist in the funeral of a local 101st Soldier who lost his life in Iraq. I will be one of many PGR members shielding the family from potential protesters and assisting with the military honors.

It appears there may be a second funeral sometime this weekend or next week for another local boy. Sad

My goodness! I can't believe people actually protest at funerals!!
Can't they just respect the families and let them have a day of peaceful mourning?!

Mere words cannot adequately convey what I think of those groups. (Napalm comes close though...)

eff the protestors.

thanks for being there ranger.

i, too, find it unbelievable that anyone with a beating heart could actually show up at a soldier's funeral and protest. i am sickened by that thought.

saddened by those most precious losses too.
