So, last night was the Radiohead concert at Blossom in Ohio. They blew.me.away. The highlight song of the night for me was ... there there. Phenomenal. Not many words spoken throughout the night, but to open that song he said something like, This is for when you feel like a tree. : During the first few songs he danced a lot. Skippy boy next to me seemed to imitate him throughout the night (he was almost decked, by me). <smiling sweetly> Lights were better than good; the sound systems had a quirk or two for those of us in the lawn.
I danced. I shook my butt. Stood the whole time.
Oh!! The people watching was in full force. As I mentioned in another thread, being weeks awat from being 40, I was decidely NOT part of the geezer crowd. One way to check a man's age at this sort of thing... if he has his shirt tucked in, he's of the older crowd. A few people with extreme piercings (I find them fascinating). The groups of 2 or more girls that seem to dress alike made me cringe and fully acknowledge that I probably did that too when I was in college. A really stinky blonde-haired kid with dreadlocks in a ponytail on top of his head irritated me too.

They did one from The Bends (I think, the hubby is the expert)... The Bends in the first encore. Yes to Idioteque.
Here's a site with the playlist: http://www.ateaseweb.com/live/2003/20030821.php
