Pimpette is a natural progression of Smurfette....
Let's trace it back, as the years have passed, the smurfs like many of us, have grown up. The networks felt restricted in having the Smurfs work "blue" (even with their natural pigmentation). The networks wanted something with more substance, something to sink your teeth into.
The Gargamel and Azriel chasing and blundering every week became stale and old. Then one day, a young network executive struck gold when he decided to let the Smurfs "grow up".
Some Smurfs initially were aghast by the changes...they wanted bond together and retain their sterotypes. The network "tweaked" the smurfs grow up concept and allowed the Smurfs to mature, but well within their original characters.
That is how we have come to love the NEW SMURFS
Brainy- the dot.com genius who had developed a very successful computer enterprise to only waste the money up his nose.
Handy- Originally the host of "This Old Hut", but after a lawsuit filed by EsquireSmurf, lost his show and descended into Smuft Porn and became the guy with the "Big Tool"
and of course Pimpette...formerly known as Smurfette. She realized that being the only girl in town had it's advantages and became both Pimp and Ho.

Most excellent! LOL LOL LOL

Don't forget, Pimpette is most likely a term of endearment, not degrading. Nowadays it's krunk to be a pimpette, dawg, playah, or those other terms that make little sense to me.

BTW - something that is good now sucks. Go figure.

*sigh* Another missed opportunity for the copyright and trademark rights.
