How do you store your computer stuff you know, back up software disks, extra cables, game CD's, and all the other stuff that you need or use?

Our computer desk has lots of shelves, drawers, doors etc. We keep all out stuff in there. We don't have a lot of stuff though.

...and we DO have a lot of stuff. Prior to the big desk we had a CD bookshelf that held all our CD's and computer tools. Everything else we kept in the closet in the office.

I am trying to figure out a good place to put all the software CD's and the cleaning supplies and the extra cables without using up all the drawers in my current desk. (Which is an old solid wood office desk from my grandfathers den)

Would it be feasible to get one of those DVD carrying cases? They hold up to 200+ CD's. They are about the size of a textbook. Can you get a rubbermaid tub to put the cables & cleaning supplies in and then store them somewhere for when you need them?

Camera and Palm cables are attached to the computer and laying off to the side.
Backup and program CD's are locked in an old briefcase.
Important MS Office documents are also on my documents to go, so I have backup copies on my palm and at the office
