OK, been wrestling with a computer problem and my new Palm Pilot. So maybe someone here could offer any insight. Here is the issue as I sent it to one of my company's computer folks:
My palm is the Tungsten E model which is designed to hotsync via the USB connection, as we both know with Windows NT and my laptop, I need to hotsync via the serial connection. From my research, it appears that my palm does not have the capability and I cannot seem to find an adaptor that will allow for the shift from the USB to serial port. My model does not come with a cradle only a USB cable. Palm sells serial connectors for other models but the model needs to have the Palm Universal Connector device (which of course mine does not). I searched the Palm website, Staples, and Radio Shack to see if I could find a Palm device and/or just a regular USB to Serial adaptor with no luck.
So, do you and/or your Palm expert that you spoke with yesterday have any insights/advice on what I can do??
