I have heard of schools going to that. I have never used it. Of course, my major didn't require many research papers. We just had to write books on how we implemented software and technology. Ok. Maybe it wasn't a book, but it was darn close at 150 pages for a 3 person group.

I haven't used the site, but I am big on quoting sources anyway.
My Theology professor is an absolute nut when it comes to the P word. The college as a whole is very serious about it, but she has taken it to a new level. I cannot copy verbatim out of the textbook without using quotations. I think this is silly. First, because both my paralegal and PE profs don't seem to mind this (They are questions relating to the text, a lot like "Define X" or "Explain the difference between A and Z" and some such stuff) and second because it's not like I am trying to pass this stuff off as my own ideas. My q&a papers end up being upwards of 5 pages, and to quote every single time I use 3 consecutive words out of a textbook, it just seems a bit much. In my essays and journals, where most of the words need to come from me, I am sure to use quotes, page numbers or line numbers, then a Works Cited page as necessary, but honestly. If I have to define "apocalyptic literature" or "revelation", when we all know I'm getting my information from the text, why should I have to quote it?
Ok, so this turned into a rant, sorry. Maybe I just don't get it. Maybe she is right and I am wrong.
To answer your question again though, no I have not used it, but I will bookmark it for future use. Thanks for the tip!
