Ever watch a game play by play on ESPN.com? Thrilling, isn't it? I watched the end of the LSU game like that tonight. LSU was down 15-7 with around 2:30 left in the game. LSU scores, makes the 2 point conversion, and forces the OT. LSU scores 7 first, then it's 4th and 4 on the 19 for OSU. They score, then while I'm waiting for the next OT, I refresh the page and the game is over, 22-21. So now I'm trying to figure out what happened... did the kicker choke? Did they get greedy and try to end it right there?
Argh.

OSU's kicker muffed the x-point....his 3rd miss of the game...
(someone from vegas must have gotten too him)

Based on the article I read this morning, LSU did get very lucky.

I watched the game on television in Colorado Springs and I can tell you LSU did not look impressive. The Oregon State PAT kicker is a freshman. I'm sure he is really hurting.
But I am pleased LSU won.

That was a great game to listen to yesterday. Also an incredible way to start the season. National TV. Not many errors by the Boilers. I think Kyle Orten is going to be great this year.
Next week should be a win as well. We play Ball State at Purdue.
