I am a devoted runner. Nothing can stop me from running, not even a bad weather. However, I caught a cold and pneumonia as well as had several conditions following the last race. My wife said that I should have had such experience to learn to stay indoors on bad weather. What do you think?

Well, you have experienced it yourself. Running in cold and wet conditions has its risks. To reduce these risks you have to take some precautions and be aware of certain facts. You have to make sure that you are properly trained for the race distance. Very important thing is to keep yourself well hydrated. You have to wear the proper clothing appropriate to the current weather conditions. You should remember to run within your limits and be able to reduce your expectations if the weather conditions are not favorable. The most important thing is that if you develop symptoms of hypothermia, you should inform a race official or your training partner and change into warm and dry clothing as immediately.
