Colorado Springs area "Damn, It's Monday (DIM)" H3 #102
17 Apr 06, 6-ish P.M.
Hares: Pulled Pork, Bloody Z and UnaPalmer
Theme: Trail of the Three Stooges

Being new to C-Springs, I had to find my way to this wayward bar on a side of town I had no idea where it was...add to the fact there was a brush fire nearby and the wind was a thousand miles-an-hour blowing the smoke and dust around. According to the weather/traffic report on the radio, the temp was in the 80's, the humidity was 6% (yes, 6%) and the road to where I had to go was closed because of the fire.

Chalk talk, hares away, and we went back in the bar to get out of the wind and continue the prelube. Because of the wind, many marks were lost and whistles and "On-On" calls couldn't be heard.

The pack beat the beer-wagon to the first beer near. Most of the pack was successfully recalled, but the FRB, Dafoldildo, visiting from somewhere else, missed not only the first BN but the second one. We blame the beer-wagon for that. The beer wagon BARELY made it in time to meet the pack for the second BN

After the second BN, most of the pack knew where they were and where the On-In/After was going to be and HEADED straight there. A few hashers however, exhibited integrity, tenacity and idiocy and continued to follow true trail. (Including, yours truly, NASCOCK)

After much grousing about having the trail go up-hill the entire way, the remaining wayward hashers made it to the On-In. The hares served good beer and good food. Circle was routine (which was good, considering that this was my first with the DIM's, so I didn't feel lost.) The songs were different than Dayton/Sin-City, but, in due time, I'll learn these also.

NASCOCK had to sing the Dayton song and do a several down-downs (what else is new!?)

Yeah, yeah, I know: "Faster Funnier" I'll end it on that note!!!

Respectfully submitted, this day,
Douglas C. Neidermier (Oh, wait, that's from Animal House...)

On-On
NASCOCK

I'm sort of pissed that you didn't call me from circle, as my men have a tendency to do. I like to sing in foreign circles, you see.

I picked up on a lie or two in your Trash (something about integrity or some idle lie like that) but all in all you write a good trash, you freaking half-mind.

Figures that you blame getting your sorry arse lost on the wind blowing the trail away. I thought you liked a good blow. Oh, that was something else.... never mind then!

ON ON!

Horny.

Sorry, I didn't call (being that I am one of YOUR men!!!) but to be fair, it was past 8:00 PM my time (so past 10:00 PM your time...)

I do like a good blow, but wet ones, not one dry, 6%, no-humidity ones. I'll take a rain-check on a wet, hot blow...

See, it's best to just not fight it!

I'll speak to the other corner of our triangle about coming out there for a hash... since your absent minded half mindedness forgets to call me in circle....

He mentioned something about another trip out west soon...... Shocked
