Exactly my thoughts. Not liek he's making some bold prediction.
Also.... I could never take anyone named "Oral" seriously at any time... |
I'm just glad his parents didn't continue that type of name with his siblings... |
Yeah... it'd be tough to defend a sister named FellatioLou.... |
Prolly where we got the name Mulva.

Se let me see:
Hurricane season starts June 1. We get about 15 hurricanes a year. Odds are one or two will hit. GREAT odds !!
Tsunami's well... We'd need a pretty good earthquake for that - the East Coast is relatively "calm" compared to the West but hey it can happen. Just like the Cubs can win a world series.

Ding Ding Ding !! We have a winner !!
Now, I'm not saying there's some demagoguery here but... Having a university, hospital and religious institution named after yourself does come awfully close...

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - In another in a series of notable pronouncements, religious broadcaster Pat Robertson says God told him storms and possibly a tsunami will hit America's coastline this year.
Robertson has made the predictions at least four times in the past two weeks on his news-and-talk television show "The 700 Club" on the Christian Broadcasting Network, which he founded.
Robertson said the revelations about this year's weather came to him during his annual personal prayer retreat in January.
"If I heard the Lord right about 2006, the coasts of America will be lashed by storms," Robertson said May 8. On Wednesday, he added, "There well may be something as bad as a tsunami in the Pacific Northwest." |
I just hope it doesn't happen while I'm in VA Beach this summer (note where the story comes from!)

Isn't VA Beach where the PTL or 700 Club is located ?
It could almost be like visiting the Vatican...

It is "officially" located in VA Beach but it is on the border. It isn't very noticable, though. You have to know what you are looking for in order to find it.

Here's a quandry for them:
If the "Lord will provide" have they updated their insurance coverage to include flood and wind damage ?
Would this be like "insider trading" ?

| good ole Pat wrote: | "I would warn Orlando that you're right in the way of some serious hurricanes, and I don't think I'd be waving those flags in God's face if I were you, This is not a message of hate -- this is a message of redemption. But a condition like this will bring about the destruction of your nation. It'll bring about terrorist bombs; it'll bring earthquakes, tornadoes, and possibly a meteor." –Pat Robertson, on "gay days" at Disneyworld.
"The feminist agenda is not about equal rights for women. It is about a socialist, anti-family political movement that encourages women to leave their husbands, kill their children, practice witchcraft, destroy capitalism and become lesbians." –Pat Robertson |
I'm not trying to stir things up, but Pat has indeed made those connections before.
