Do yourselves a favour and see this one Riff-Raffers.
It was recommended to me by a friend of mine (Paul) who swam the English channel a couple of years back.
I thought that it would be all about the technical build up and training for such an epic swim. (very little of that)

It was better than that !!!

Frank an unemployed Glasgow dockworker resolves to swim the English Channel in this British comedy-drama starring Peter Mullan and Brenda Blethyn.
Made redundant after 35 years toiling on the Glasgow docks, 55-year old Frank packs his lunchbox for the last time. A visit to the job centre becomes especially humiliating where Frank starts having panic attacks.

He finds solace among his mates down at the local pool. It's while the gang are on a cross-Channel booze cruise that a crazy idea suddenly takes hold: Why not swim from Dover to Calais?

If you swap swimming for stripping and parallels between On A Clear Day and The Full Monty are hard to ignore.

It only runs for about 90 minutes. See it, you won't be disappointed
