Do those of you with pets get the pets presents or have stockings for them?

We used to get the dog a rawhide chew toy every year and let her chew the wrapping off. She seemed be as excited as the kids about the whole thing.

Yup. Moe gets a bit of the good moist canned food before crashing back to that hard kitty reality known as Meow Mix Seafood Middles.

One year, though, we got Max one of those rope pull-things with a big knot at each end. Figured that would keep him entertained for several months. Lasted all of about 30 seconds - he ripped it to shreds.

Of course we get them gifts/stockings? Doesn't everyone?
Several years ago when I just had the one dog, my aunt sent her a rawhide bone and wrapped it. When we arrived at my parents, Kelly ran to the tree and started digging through all the presents and found that bone. The rest of us certainly appreciated the help unwrapping ours.

buying pippi toys just doesn't make sense anymore...She clearly takes more enjoyment out of playing with things we already have in the house...i.e shoes, couch cushions, ankles etc...

I'm with katt on this. OF COURSE the puppalitos get stockings. They're like little peoples at Chez Partay, and they get more than some relatives of ours.

I don't know exactly what to give to my 2 5cm long stickbugs...It seems like a bunch of fresh blackberry leaves would keep them happy

Ours get special toys at Christmas. They enjoy stealing each other's toys.
Just like kids, they want they toy I gave the other one.
The cat gets boxes, glorious boxes at Christmas. (Shopping for him is really cheap) His fun is climbing into and hiding in all the wrapping.
They also get special add-ins in their dinners...

I love making homemade dog cookies for my dog! Bone shaped cutters and the whole nine yards, sometimes I even make small gift bags for my friends dogs...

That's so cool! Do you have the kind from the box or do you have a recipe?
And yes, my furbaby gets presents.

I have a recipe and a bone cookie cutter. The cookies are really good but a little dry for my liking.
