I had forgotten about LL Bean coming in last week. I happened to see a catalog from Terry's Village on the computer desk and I noticed the winter/Christmas theme on it.

I've rec'd a handful already. I am only keeping the American Girl one this year because Libby is getting a new doll for Christmas. Everything else gets pitched--I don't even browse! (OK, we kept the Disney one, Jake loves to look at all the Buzz stuff.)

I have been getting 1 or 2 a day since October Started. I guess since I do 99% of my Christmas shopping on-line, I am on every list out there now.

My daughters loved American Girl dolls when they were younger.

We've gotten about six to ten so far, not including any running ones.

I even get them from places I've never heard of. I always say after Christmas "next year I'm going to start in October", maybe this is the year to do that.

she was kinda "over" the whole doll thing until we moved here and our neighbor (aka her best friend) has a handful of them. they're always playing with them now. my only wish is that they weren't so blasted expensive. I never ever had a doll that cost $100. mom would have laughed at me. since the kids only get 3 presents each however, it's not *too* much of an issue.
