Last night we had our Church Choir Christmas Party and it was a blast! (and it was a "dry" party, so go figure, fun without booze.) One of my choir members is extremely wealthy and she always opens her house to host this party; the house is huge and beautiful and really quite sad that only 2 people live there in such a big place. We all brought a dish to share, plus there were plenty of hors d'oeurvres and candies throughout the house. It was a fantastic dinner. I was in charge of entertainment. That was when things really started hopping! As everyone finished their meal I distributed pencils and paper and had everyone write down 3 statements about themselves, 2 true, 1 false. Later when we gathered to play the games and sing carols, I had each one read their statements and let the rest of the gang vote on which one was the lie! It was so funny! I discovered that one woman in the choir loves to watch boxing and another is participating in a research study at the Univ. of Pitt (and has been in it for 12 years.)
We did some other hilarious games too. I may start a thread with one of the games for us later today!
