And it's the year of the dog:

It's coming up in about a week. Jan 29's the first day and it runs for 15 days after. I will be having reunion dinner next Friday with family and friends at a local Chinese restaurant...will be having abalone, shark's fin soup, lobster/crab, and other delicacies.
Gong xi fa chai to everyone! (Happy New Year in mandarin)
