This was a lot easier race than last Sunday. The course was was pretty nice and I was feeling good. It was not cold and I was cruising along pretty well until about 2.5 miles when I hit the final uphill. No special problems for me or anything fantastic to say except I felt really good. It will be nice to have a couple of weeks off until my next race though. Mrs Boiler and the kids made it to this race and cheered me on. Although she did forget to take pictures during it. Sad

Elkid made it and she had a great race!!! Cappy and Monk thought they might make it but apparently things came up on the home front for them.

After the race we ate cookies and drank water and watched what seemed to be half the runners win door prizes but not myself or Elkid. Evil or Very Mad

Then it was off to the diner just down the road for lunch a few beers and to watch Elkid play Jason in Thumb wrestling and ......

My splits were:
Mile 1: 6.56 (6.56)
Mile 2: 6.54 (13.50)
Mile 3: 7.22 (21.13) The semi-long hill finally caught up to me although I was working hard and I think I caught some people.
Finish: .32
Total: 21.45
Bib Number: 75
Overall Place: 48 out of 300??
Age Group: ?? out of ?? (as soon as the results are online I will update this part)

Have a great day everyone.
