I remember being 3 years old, hiding under my movie theater seat because I was scared of Raiders of the Lost Ark. [/I'm only 26]

CLASSIC! Do you remember the one with the sasquatch who was "liberated" from the stone sarcophagus in the woods? |
Yup, I do. Was the CDF, on 48 or 17? |
In northern NJ it was WPIX channel 11. We had NY, not PA, stations.
That movie was awesome. I watched it when I had chicken pox and missed my cousin's birthday party.

Did you know that Raiders of the Lost Ark was one of the movies that got the ball rolling for the PG-13 rating?

It should also be noted that the Purple Pieman of Strawberry Shortcake scared me until past the first grade. I was easily scared as a kid.

An all-night 007 movie festival at the Starlite Drive-In. And I mean from dusk 'til dawn!

I have many, many fine Police Academy memories.

I thought it was hilarious then. I saw it on TV a couple of years back, it's not so funny now. |
I remember seeing that in the theatre as well. That was with Don Knots wasn't it? Man, that was a long time ago. Not sure if I saw the original or the 2nd. The first was 1975 and the second was 1979.

I preferred badly-dubbed Kung Fu Theatre movies on Channel 53 in Pgh. I remember one really bad one where the hero (a Shaolin monk forced out into the world, if you couldn't guess) knocks his arch enemies head apart. It was so clearly a watermelon or something but totally freaked out and exhilerated the 11 y.o. boys in my neighborhood!

How about the Trilogy of Terror film with Karen Black. Anyone ever see that? Terrified me for years. That little devil thing running around the house trying to kill her.

Apple Dumpling Gang = 1975
Apple Dumping Gang Rides Again = 1979
Don Knotts and Tim Conway are a classic pair! We've got both those movies on DVD or VHS at home.
