The opening scene of star wars, when the stormtroopers blast through the door of Princess Leia's ship?
That was a moment to remember.

Jaws made me have a hard time getting into the water again. My older brother kept his lights on for a week.

I pulled a Homer Simpson and blew the surprise for The Empire Strikes Back to the 3 million people waiting in line to see the next show.
My dad took all 4 kids to see Jaws one July. My mother hated him the rest of the summer as we all refused to swim in the ocean.
We went to Disney movies with a big brown bag full o' goodies.
My first R rated movie was Halloween. Scared the pants off me then. Still does.
I remember freaking out when I first saw The Amityville Horror because they had filmed it in Toms River, NJ and I knew tht house. My dad - Frightfest Central Manager - would go out of his way to drive past that house when they were filming. I had nightmares about that house.

Sittin' in front of the TV to watch Wizard of Oz. At the drive-ins in the back of a Ford Pinto woodsided station wagon to watch Jungle Book.

I remember seeing "The Return of the Apple Dumpling Gang" in the theater for a friend's birthday party.
I thought it was hilarious then. I saw it on TV a couple of years back, it's not so funny now.

CLASSIC! Do you remember the one with the sasquatch who was "liberated" from the stone sarcophagus in the woods?
