Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

I've been forced to fly to Madison next month for our reunion because I don't get any vacation time til my 90 days are up in June, so no road trip for me. I need more time than a day or two to drive there. It's about $100 cheaper to fly into Chicago and drive the two hours to Madison than to fly direct so I am looking at flights today. Prollem is, I HATE O Hare airport and am trying to find a flight into Midway, but maybe I'm doing this backwards....which is closer to or easier access to 90? That's what I usually take to get there if I drive from Chicago, but I thought Midway was closer to that side of the city and if I can avoid that frigging Skyway I'd like to.

HELP! PLEASE!

G -

O'Hare's closer to 90. Dave would always fly into Midway. And while it's not a pain to get to, even for me, it's in a scummy area. No more - I think when he arrives with the gf next month, and hereon out, he's coming to O'Hare - he doesn't like Midway either. Besides, O'Hare is much closer to the Kennel, and easier to get in and out of than Midway (but that might just be my POV).

Skyway? That's if you're going to Indiana. NTTAWWT.

See, I like Midway better because the airport's smaller and not as much of a pain in the ass as OH, but I see your point about it being in that skanky area. I can just do carryon then, so they won't lose my luggage--OH is famous for that.

Hmmm.....food for thought. Perhaps I'll do OH then and drive up from there. Still kicking around but that looks like the better option. I just hate city traffic and I'm not used to driving in Chicago, which is why I was thinking Midway would be easier. Usually I'm coming from here when I drive up thataway so I bypass the airports. Thanks for your input.

It's a nine-iron shot away from the Cheese Castle. It's actually a restaurant with a, how do I put this, raucous rep. Popular with bikers, families (fetus to 90), folks going to or from the outlets malls, you name it. Live bands perform there a lot. And not necessarily in the evening. And bands or no, table dancing is a common occurance. Shoot, on occasion, it's encouraged. Mr. Green

I never go to a restaurant that has not been banned at least once in the past year by the health department. Mr. Green
