Weather was sunny (I actually got sunburnt and I don't burn easily). Start temp was around 54 degrees and finish temp was in the 70's (I think). I only noticed the wind twice during the race. Basically, it was almost perfect weather (just like RnR Phoenix will be).

as I told you yesterday, Great performance for both of you! Good for you for pacing her so well! You rock! I only wish my dumb cell phone had worked in time so I could have met you!!! I guess 40,000 runners trying to call their friends and family at the same time sort of clog things up a bit...  Congrats J!

I thought I would let you know that I just got an email from Trisha. She says thank you for all the comments you guys have made. In fact, her exact quote is, "Thanks for all the happy messages from people!"
I had sent many of your comments to her in order to brighten her day. I believe that if you are happy and feel good about what you have done, then you are in a positive mood. If you are positive, then you recover much quicker and are more open to doing a marathon again.
