A college professor (let say Chemisty) announced to his new class that there would be periodic "little quizzies." Well, the first "little quizzie" came and many students found it harder than they though a quiz would be. One female student commented out loud, "If that's one of his 'little quizzies,' I'd hate to see one of his 'big testies!'"
After which the embaressed woman never came back to class. |
I wouldn't let a thing like that prevent me from attending class. Hell, were that the case, my semesters would be all of a week long.
I'm a very, um, boisterous student. Last semester a judge taught us Commercial Transactions. He said something about an assignment, relating to how much time we had to do it, and without thinking, I accused him of being high. Luckily, he had a great sense of humor and while I was red for the rest of the class (and very apologetic), I returned for more punishment (give it, receive it, whatever). Although that was an all-time low for me as far as comments go. I tried, with mostly success, to be a model student. Well, in his class anyway.

Well, I got 29.5/30 on the quiz and then 77% on the test = translates to a C, which I gladly take. He is giving the quiz again next Wed and will average the two scores, but I think I'm just going to leave well enough alone. I hated studying for that damn thing!
I can do better, and will keep studying very hard. Just because all I need is a C to pass and the credits to transfer, doesn't mean that that's all I want to get. I want to do well. Just got to keep trying!
