Here’s what bugs me. I’m not in a brilliant financial situation at the moment and I need to buy a new pair of running shoes. I’ve seen a shoe I like, but there are two versions – cheap and expensive. I know that there are differences but since I’m only recreational runner, I’m wondering whether I would even perceive that those expensive are technologically advanced. Which one should I buy?

To be honest, I wouldn’t spend more than 5 minutes thinking about this, if I were you. Go and buy the cheaper pair. You’re right about not being able to perceive their advanced technology. I think that cheaper shoes will serve you well enough for your purposes. But I must say that usually expensive shoes are made of more quality fabrics and they’re long-lasting, and that means that in the long run these expensive shoes are more affordable because you’ll probably wear them twice longer than the cheap ones. But since you don’t have much money now, better be economical and buy the cheap ones and when you’re in a better situation, treat your feet with quality running shoes because they’re worth every cent.
