I think they have found a way around the no call list.

All my phones are on it, but now I am getting marketing calls from Canada... I guess the gubermint cannot control what comes from outside the US

TM: Hello, this is ABC, Co,

Me: Hold on a second.

then, to imaginary person standing beside me, I yell,

then, back the the phone, hello, what can I do for you? hello? hello???

one time i was actually nice and offered to do the survey (taking marketing research, i was a bit intruiged to see what they would say).

i got about 6 questions in until the person goes "oh wait... no i'm sorry... i'm supposed to be talking to the mom in the house". Razz yah try to be helpfull...

other times i'll criticize the question "just an fyi but that last question you asked me isn't going to give you any decent information at all. it's not structured properly" as the telemarketer goes "uhhh.... .... i'll write that down".
