You guys are fast uncovering my real underlying motive in posting this thread: "alienate everyone as fast as possible".
Ben Cartwright happens to be one of my all-time favorite t.v. characters. Good-looking, suave, earthy, brave, funny & serious, great dad, likes horses.
Roll that in your paper and smoke it.

Help me out w/more... |
I think I'd rather see PH as Vin Diesel--now that someone put that idea into
my head. Seeing him now as Charles Ingalls just really short circuits my
brain. (Like that's anything new! ) Does he have split personalities?

Oh..ummm...I thought that was the name of the "Hoss" character. He was the young, good looking one? No? Ok, I can live with that.

For those of us that don't remember Bonanza that well (me included)::
Michael Landon - Joseph "Little Joe" Francis Cartwright
Lorne Greene - Ben Cartwright
Dan Blocker - Eric "Hoss" Cartwright (1959-1972)
Pernell Roberts - Adam Cartwright (1959-1965)

Oh boy. That's about right. Maybe that or a cross between Tank Girl and Rose McGowan in "The Doom Generation" on a bad day..
How did you know that's one of my favorite movies?

Once my wife and I were watching a John Travolta movie. She turns to me and says "You know my grandma says you remind her alot of John Travolta". I'm pretty smug for a minute or two to myself. Travolta, eh? I am studly I guess. Then she says "Did I say Travolta? No, I mean Denver. She says you remind her of John Denver".
Instant ego deflate.
