He just called, sounds a little drugged up still, but honestly, even with that he sounds better than I've heard him in ages. Says he still feels pretty beat up from the surgery and anesthesia but Jen's on her way over to get him now to take him home. WOO HOO!!!!  He said he'll prolly be out of work about half of next week and is going to try to go back Thursday maybe, and he'll be off most activity for about a month but otherwise the surgery was successful, which is a big relief. Hopefully this'll make him feel better!
He said he might try to pop on later this afternoon but wanted to let you know he's on the way home......and says thanks for all your prayers and good wishes.

I'm back. In a lot of discomfort, but otherwise doing okay.
Procedure went well, doctor said I was good patient.
