I knew this was coming.  They cancelled our car insurance cuz the boy got 2 speeding tickets. He lost his liscense and most likely won't even get it back till he's 18 but it doesn't matter. Nor does it matter that we have been with the company 20 years and had no claims the past 10+ years.

Wow....
Does that mean you get assigned to a company under high risk? Just a thought, All*tate in PA will take you even as high risk in most cases.
I made it clear to my kids that if that happened because of them, they were responsible for the difference, even if they did not drive.
