was great fun... but never again in a tent. We're going to have to buy a pop-up or a hard trailer camper for next time.
We went to 4 Mile Creek campsite, in Youngstown, about 7 miles from Niagara Falls. We went to the falls one day, and did the Maid of the Mist, which my sister had never done before.
There were 23 of us in all, all family, on 5 lots. It was really a blast. Michael was bummed Sunday, though, missing his Sunday Ticket, and saying how if we had a hard camper he could put a dish on it!

Did ya play any good card games? There always has to be a deck of cards on camping trips. Not to forget good 'old t.p. and beer.

Oh man, tent camping is the only way to camp. You just have to do it right - tent of sufficient size and waterproofness and some good inflatable mattresses for sleeping. I just spent the weekend camping in your neck of the woods LE - Mosquito Lake with my kid and his buddy. We had a blast and my campfire cooking got good reviews.

Nothing better than sitting around a good campfire in the woods with a full cooler and shooting the breeze. It can go on for hours and the time just flies by.

I went camping a few times when I was younger. You're braver than me, LE - my idea of roughing it these days is a fan instead of AC.

We've been out in our travel trailer a buncha times this summer ..Madison included
Some of the best money I evah spent. Drive to the campground, park and get in. It's just so easy. And when cruising down the road if we need a biffy or lunch break, again, just park and get in. Loads easier than tenting and dare I say easier than hotelling...no luggage, no wonders about the room, no restaurant probs, just roll and go.
