At least that's what size our camping neighbors tent appeared to be. Kid and me go camping, we have our two man Eureka! tent, the boat, two folding chairs, a cooler and a fire. Camp neighbors, mom/dad/three young daughters (aged 7 to 11 I'm guessing) have the Fort Knox tent, a large awning over their picnic table and every camping doodad known to mankind. We cook over the camp fire, they cook on a large portable stove. We have a flashlight, they have lanterns and electric who-do-doo lights (colorful lights dangling around everywhere). They have walkie-talkies to always maintin contact with the overbearing mom and they talked constantly, we chat quietly and make obnoxious guy noises.

We named 'em the Yackleys. Mr. Yackley stopped over to shoot the breeze with us several times, I think he was trying to escape the din. At least they all packed it in early at night and the evenings were quiet.....

Mom eyed us very suspiciously and frankly, I think she was disgusted by the noises and odors that I'm sure emanated across campsite property boundaries.... Mr. Green

Sorry we disturbed your weekend. Was it the background music that gave it away? Razz

I used the army tent halves this weekend on my camping trip..

I also think I saw a couple having sex standing up on my way to the bathroom at the campground...but I was real tired after running so maybe I just imagined that..

You're lucky !!! One time we camped next to the Disfunctionals.

PS: We have most of the stuff you mentioned the Yackleys have as leftovers from our motorhome days...
