Great, I'm sitting in my classroom at lunch with tears in my eyes. I think I'll print them out.

WWWWWWAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! cry cry cry cry That's too sad. I often debate internally how I will handle death and dying with Olivia, especially when she learns to love our cats as I have and we have to say goodbye to them.

It's tough, OB. I had to have our dog put down on my son's birthday. (He and my son had been buddies since my son was three) And dad was deployed at the time, too. We had a long talk and a long cry. But knowing that it was being done because we loved Buster so much made it easier to explain and understand for both of us.

What a stupid world, indeed. It's either mean or arbitrary, and either way, it gives me the heebie-jeebies too. cry
