Does anyone else really care about this, besides those who live in California.

I actually think the people NOT living in CA care more than the people that do (no offense to Riff Raff California). If they cared, Arnold would not be the top GOP candidate.

The whole thing is a ridiculous waste of time and money. They voted Davis in, he hasn't done anything illegal, so they stick with him for the term. This recall is going to set a VERY annoying precident.

I don't really care much about the outcome, but the people of California do have a recall process built into their Constitution so they have a right to invoke it. For me it I more intrigued about watching the process work than the outcome.

It's a huge deal for the next Presidential election. California has the largest stash of electoral votes and whichever party has the gove nor's office there will get its Presidential candidate the most face time.
