It's a Morpho peleides (Blue Morpho for those not familiar with the lingo,  ), one of 800 species in Belize. Due to its large size and iridescent colour it makes a lasting impression on everyone that sees it.

yea! finally, someone got their post card! i was begining to worry that they didnt get sent out. i gave them to the "resort director" the day before we left to send out for me.
and thanks for the compliment. i worked very hard, making sure my writing was legible!  glad libby liked the card!
