Spent the day helping a non-mechanically inclined friend fix his truck.
New front brakes, new belt and new headlamp bulbs (since fall's coming).
Couldn't stand the thought of seeing him get ripped off by the stealership.
Now if I could just find a way to work on cars without ending up filthy and bleeding...

Sounds like fun! I spent my evening re-installing the dual exhaust on my old truck. The muffler had rotted away but the tail pipes and exhaust pipe were salvagable. Of course a few adaptors were required but it's just about done. Junior's assistance will be required tomorrow to get that second tailpipe lined up just right.
