Hey guys !
Did a training run with some friends Saturday. Did about 5 miles overall but two of them were uphill, and I mean uphill. On May 8 I'm running the Prospect Mountain Run in Lake George NY: 5.65 miles UPHILL all the way !! Check it out here:

Anyway one of the guys from work and I will be doing the race. We've scoped out uphill courses in our neighborhoods and doing the right things to get ready. This should be lots of fun. I've been wanting to do this race for 3 years but stuff got in the way.
Make a long story short: My buns ache !! It was fun and next week we'll go for three hill loops. If anyone else is up for the challenge of this race, I guess we'll see you there.

That looks like a fun training run, but I would have NO desire to race it. 500' gain in one mile? No thanks, but send me a postcard when you are done.
