Alright, The Wisconsin mafia had their fun, now its time for the Pa Posse to get together.

It ain't a glamorous race, but it is a fun one. The Bronx half marathon. (Online registration isn't available yet.)

You are all invited, it is Sunday, July 6 at 8 a.m. It start and finishes 1 mile from my front door.

If anyone is interested, pm me. Maybe we can make a day out of it (I can show you around town).

elkid, I know you are in.

How 'bout you?! thumbs up

Sorry, but I'll be down here in Jacksonville Running the 25th anniversary Celebration 5K.

I am thinking about trying to get into the NYC Marathon in 2004 though.

Cool, I will more than likely run the '04. Right now I am considering the '03, but I really would like to run the Richmond, Va, which is two weeks after it. The Richmond would be more condusive to a fast time (I really want to get to within striking distance to a 3:10), while NYC is, well NYC...

Decisions, decisions

I will probably be out in NYC sometime this summer. Hmmm. Perhaps some clever timing is in order?

The course is mostly flat with one medium hill at about mile 6. It is a pretty cool run, mostly in the Northern Bronx.

I do not know whether to believe you or not. When I inquired about Brooklyn, I was told it was flat and you remember that big hill we went up TWICE? When I inquired about Queens, I was told save that one hil we went up TWICE that it was flat, but I remember a lot of undulations, mostly up. If you are just saying it's flat to get my hopes up, remember, I will know where you live and you will owe me 2 drinks! Razz

But you're not biased about the Bronx or anything.
