I ran a 5 mile PR 2 weeks after my marathon. All that base and plenty of rest.

For someone who told me to take it easy for the entire month of December you're making it difficult, dude. You KNOW I can't say no to a challenge. I'm scheduled for a 5 hour glucose intolerance test the day before ... if I feel OK after that, I'll see you there. That is, if you really exist. The jury's still out on that one in my mind.

I have seen the light....and the TriBob.....I am a believer!!!!
Not sure about this one, I want to see how my running is coming along, but if there's a gathering I may come to take pics. This course is a beeyotch and if I'm not ready I'm not running it.

OK, I just found the greatest little Irish pub for our pre-race lunch!! Kildare's on Gay Street across from Iron Hill Brewery (right off High Street about a block from the courthouse in downtown West Chester). Nice beer selection, good food, we went there for lunch after jury duty today.
What say we ditch that hellasucky city and go somewhere new for a change, Posseites??

If you don't like the city, stay out then.

Why do you always pick places with no parking? So are you running?
I have some tentative plans to meet up with some locals. Depending on what/where maybe they will join us.

Dude, it's West Chester, there's no parking anywhere! The City is like that. However, the Bicentennial Garage is like a block or so away down by the courthouse unless you know of a free parking lot in town--is there one anywhere?? I'm only really familiar with that area of the city because I go there relatively frequently.
Is there somewhere even a few blocks away where we could park, maybe a more residential area off Market or Gay Streets maybe??
Oooh......is it Beth and Matt?? Yay, bring them....or whoever. We're pretty friendly

You frequent Pubs
Yes, its Beth and Matt. A post race party would probably be better for those of us who are running. I know its Sunday afternoon; but, I don' t have far to drive home
