OK, I just found the greatest little Irish pub for our pre-race lunch!! Kildare's on Gay Street across from Iron Hill Brewery (right off High Street about a block from the courthouse in downtown West Chester). Nice beer selection, good food, we went there for lunch after jury duty today.

Are you INSANE? Going out to eat and drink before a race? Even I'm not that stupid.

I'm out, kids. An hour out and back for a 1pm 5K is a bit much for me. It will translate to an all day affair and I have a final the week after I will need to study for. I need to start training smarter, and I will also be saving my legs for the B*stard. Next time.

Ummm.....by pre-race lunch I meant the day before, like we've been doing the last couple races. Confused

Bob, to answer your earlier question, I'm not sure yet if I am running or not, but either way I think the majority of us are not that far from West Chester than we couldn't do lunch or dinner Saturday or Sunday, depending on what the majority wants. It would definitely be great to see Matt and Beth again, I think the last time I saw them was the day they picked up my bike!

Which is better for the rest of y'all??

The day before should work well. I'll do packet pickup and they usually have some good prices on clothes there as well.

Hey yeah, The Athlete's Closet is usually there, maybe I'll pop down and see what I can pick up. Can you check with Matt and Beth and see if they will join us also, since they live close?
