The Texans have reached an agreement with Mario Williams.

They are not drafting Reggie Bush.

repeat

They are not drafting Reggie Bush.

(Just reported on espn).

I wonder how ticked off RB is??!!

Do you think the housing scandal had anything to do with it?

nope.

What do they care about what his parents did with some agent arranging free housing for a year?

They want to win.

Holy Crap! I bet the GM of the Saints is taking a lot of phone calls about moving up to the #2 spot now.

This is throwing a monkey wrench in Kiper's gosh darn top ten.

Absolutely.. he's damaged goods. Where there's smoke there's fire. This housing thing is just one of many 'unknowns' in the closet.

I don't think so.

The thing is, the Texans stink. They have alot of holes to fill, and even though Reggie is a great talent...they have a serviceable running back.

The guy I saw on espn last night compared Williams to Reggie White.

I don't think Bush's parents having some "arrangement" with some agency is a problem for the pro teams. It won't affect them.

The fact that druggies that can't get their life straight are still welcomed to teams in the NFL makes it pretty obvious no one will so much as blink over RB.

I heard a sports talk radio guy make a similar comment about the idea that what happens in college doesnt impact them. I think it might. He is a young kid about to get a boatload of cash. I hope he has a smart and moral adviser to help him handle it all.
