Okay, hit me with your fav wake 'em up meal. I need something new to try for the a.m. refueling. With summer runs happening mostly in the morning, I feel like a charging rhino ready to graze once I finish my workout.

Pop-Tart. Got this hint from RW. Create carb/protein ratio and a quick 200 cal to get you going.

mmmmmmmmmm I love pop tarts!
For me all I need is a GU first thing to jump start me before my early morning workout.
After workout: a boring bagel.

I have a great recipe for a multi-grain hot cereal at home, I'll post it for you tonight. It's got all sorts of yummy stuff in it, brown rice, barley, raisins, dried cranberries, nuts, brown sugar....yum yum. I make a big batch and just heat it up in the AM with a little more milk.

I go with a powerbar or some cereal before a run, and after I have blueberry bagels with raspberry preserves on them. It rocks!

Pancakes! I buy the microwaveable ones ('cause who wants to cook) and eat a package of those.
