What's your favorite breakfast food to have at dinner? We like eggs, bacon, homefries and pancakes, and if it's an especially good time, the pancakes will have little clams in them. It sounds disgusting, I know. But it's DEELISH.

Clam pancakes??? That sounds interesting, but what do you put on them, surely not syrup?
For us, it's either french toast made with good sourdough bread, a little vanilla and cinnamon, stuffed with cream cheese and topped with hot fruit compote (with sausage of course)
OR make-your-own omelettes, with a variety of yummy ingredients to use. My personal fave is spinach, tomato, feta and mushrooms. Breakfast for dinner ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My favorite breakfast dinner also. Although I eat sausage fairly regularly.... good stuff.

Oh yes, lots of syrup. It's no good to have a pancake without syrup. Mm, I'm jonesing for some clamcakes right now.

Must think about this.......I'm almost tempted to try them, where did you have them before, or is this a Go trademarked original creation?
PS-was at Infusion last week meeting a friend from CHC--that place is growing on me! Their chai kicks Starbucks' azzzz

cheryl you should try to eat some cereals too.
for me it would be an egg sandwhich. scrambled egg, ham, cheese, a slice of tomato on wheat or multi-grain bread.

We like the works: eggs, bacon or sausage, fried potatoes, biscuits or toast.
For variety we'll have pancakes and bacon (or sausage), and for a special treat...bacon waffles (waffles cooked with chunks of bacon inside).

Yes, it's a Mr. Go creation. I'm sure it was the product of whatever was on hand. You make regular pancakes but add a can of little clams. Drain the can and if you need to use other liquid (like if the batter gets too thick) you can use the clam juice.
Let me know if you like it. Don't let me know if it made you hurl.

There's a special buckwheat pancake here that turns green when it is cooked. They are called ployes.
