There's a special buckwheat pancake here that turns green when it is cooked. They are called ployes. | Is that a French-Canadian/Acadian thing?

Were it not for eggs and my proclivity for eating them for dinner over the past 3 months, I'd weigh like 6 pounds now.

It's 11:04 p.m. EST and I am SO very hungry for pancakes with sausage. It's so good when a little bit of syrup gets on the sausage. OH, and it has to be syrup from the Amish. Comes in a Mason jar.
I'm hungry. Very hungry I am.

Little tiny (think silver dollar) pancakes with corn and crabmeat. You put just a wee bit of butter and perhaps some salsa on them. They are very, very delicious!
